The International Fresh Produce Association show, or IFPA as industry insiders call it, is right around the corner. The show, which takes place in Atlanta, GA, from October 17 to 19, is an important event for the produce industry. It offers a diverse platform for networking and showcases new and existing products to a global audience.

According to West Pak Avocado Account Manager and Customer Service Representative Supervisor Shannon Hill, IFPA is a very lively atmosphere and a great chance to connect with industry professionals. “We gain insight into industry trends and new sales leads, establish and build new relationships, walk around and see our competitors, and set meetings with customers. West Pak hopes to gain new leads for all departments.”

When asked why exhibiting at this specific show is so vital for the company, Shannon exclaimed, “The networking. It’s a one-stop shop! It promotes our company to all areas of the industry and increases our brand’s exposure, attracting current customers, potential customers, and the media. This networking allows for face-to-face interactions that lead to new partnerships.”

The IFPA show is also when new products are unveiled, and campaigns are launched for the upcoming year. This year, West Pak will kick off the innovative AVO360 program, a commitment to excellence that ensures a year-round supply of premium avocados for our customers, and unveil new branded bags for retailers. With a customer-centric, results-driven approach, West Pak is proud to deliver customized avocado experiences and offer personalized category, marketing, and merchandising support to help drive sales for our customers.

Shannon mentioned in closing, “I really enjoy seeing and experiencing all the new products and technologies up close, especially what our competitors are bringing out for the upcoming year. The show is an amazing overall experience. There is so much to take in!”
