From healthy wraps to crunchy chips and even a hearty slider option, there‘s sure to be something for everyone at your game day gathering. Get ready to indulge in some avocado goodness with these recipes!

Avocado Tomato Wraps with Cilantro Dip

Serves 2

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • salt to taste

Dip Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Set aside.

Wrap Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 large, ripe avocado, seeded, peeled, and sliced
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, quartered

Wrap Instructions

  1. Place a tortilla flat on a cutting board.
  2. About two inches in on all sides, place a row of avocado slices on one side of the tortilla.
  3. Add a row of tomatoes next to the avocado slices.
  4. Slowly roll the tortilla from the side with the avocado slices. 
  5. Once you roll past the tomatoes, fold down the top of the tortilla and fold up the bottom of the tortilla.
  6. Continue rolling until you run out of tortilla.
  7. Cut the wrap in half and serve.

 

Air Fryer Tortilla Chips with Guacamole

Serves 2

Chips Ingredients

  • 3-4 small corn tortillas 
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • sea salt

Chips Instructions 

  1. Slice the tortillas into eight pie-shaped pieces.
  2. Spray lightly with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Place tortillas into the air fryer basket on one layer without overlapping.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes at 350 degrees. 
  5. Flip tortillas over, add more spray and salt, then cook for another 2-3 minutes or until brown and crisp.
  6. Remove chips from the air fryer and allow them to cool.

Guacamole Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, seeded and peeled
  • ¼ cup sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small Roma tomato, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. lime or lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Guacamole Instructions

  1. Mash avocado flesh in a small bowl using a fork.
  2. Add onion, tomato, lime or lemon juice, garlic, and cilantro, then mix.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl.

Serve chips on a platter with a bowl of guacamole, plus salsa and queso of choice. 

 

Guac’n Half-Time Sliders

Serves 2

Guacamole Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado, seeded and peeled
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1Tbsp. lime or lemon juice
  • a dash of hot sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Guacamole Instructions

  1. Mash avocado flesh in a small bowl using a fork.
  2. Add lime or lemon juice, garlic, and hot sauce, then mix.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Set aside.

Burger Patty Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Burger Patty Instructions

  1. Add ingredients into a mixing bowl and blend with your hands until the mixture looks even. 
  2. Divide the meat into four sections, then work into patties.
  3. Preheat the grill or a skillet to medium heat. 
  4. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until the patty reaches 165˚ internally.

Other Ingredients

  • 4 rolls of choice
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • leafy lettuce of choice

Slider Assembly

  1. On the bottom bun, layer on lettuce, guacamole, tomato, burger patty, and more guac, then top with the other half of the bun. 
  2. Run a knotted toothpick through each slider to hold it together.
  3. Devour!
